Full Job Description – Service Consultant

In the position of service consultant, you will be the direct connection between the customer and the dealership. Daily you will be looking after the customers’ needs for maintenance and service work in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining the highest customer satisfaction.
Job Duties

- Work directly with our customers and technicians as the connection point to ensure that their vehicle is being maintained or repaired to the highest standards.
- Coordinate appointments with service BDC and other employees at the dealership to ensure all vehicles can be taken care of in a timely manner.
- Following a check in procedure which includes the use of an iPad to perform day to day tasks with the customer and their vehicle present.
- Continuing to keep in touch with customers throughout the repair process on the vehicle and after to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized work environment ensuring proper documentation is maintained and collected through the repair process for all customer and warranty concerns.
- Collects the necessary information for appointment write ups. This would include researching customer maintenance records and recall history to ensure that all needs are met.
- Monitor all carryover repairs and keep the customers informed through the entire service process.

Qualifications
Â
- Bilingual is an asset but not required
- Previous experience in a sales related position an asset
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
- Ability to plan, organize and delegate and follow up on daily tasks

Schedule
Full time Monday to Friday on a split shift system with a minimum of one Saturday per month.
