A good rule of thumb would be that every time you rotate or change to your seasonal tires, to have a Certified Service Technician take a look at all your braking components such as brake fluid, lines and, of course, friction material. Pads, rotors and calipers can be the most costly repairs as they are the ones that take most of the abuse.
