Jim Tubman Chevrolet is a family-owned GM dealership that has been selling and servicing General Motors vehicles for 6 decades to a very loyal customer base. We strive to provide the best possible customer service in all aspects of our business, which is only made possible with our amazing team.

We are looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to work within our detailing department for New/Used inventory along with customer vehicle detailing. Experience in the industry is an asset but not required as we will train the correct individual to excel at their position within the dealership.

Qualifications:

• Clean driving abstract and the ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles safely.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position which includes walking, standing for long periods of time, crouching, bending, accessing tight areas in vehicle, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Previous experience in the detailing industry is an asset.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision with a high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing new and used inventory for lot and customer presentation.
• Performing customer vehicle detailing to meet or exceed the expectations of the customer.
• Working under strict timelines without compromising the quality of work performed.
• Performing minor paint corrections, proper application of interior and exterior detailing products to the vehicle.
• Ensure the workspace is always kept safe and clean.
• Manage supply inventory with the help of supervisor.
• Ensuring vehicles are parked appropriately at indicated areas for delivery or showing.

The successful candidate is a self-motivated and a responsible individual which always shows the desire to adapt and learn.

Job type: Permanent Ful Time

Salary: Starting at $18.00/hour depending on experience and productivity

Expected Hours: 40 Hours per week

Shift: 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday (possible Saturdays depending on work load)
